Adelaide Sorellis is ready to leave her life running a drug smuggling gang behind and use her magic in a more respectable profession as a war mage now that she’s a mother. However, first, she has to take on a deadly mission: take down the assassin, Mertwin, targeting the Crown Prince. If Adelaide fails to stop the assassination and uncover the traitors behind it, the stability Aloria has known for years will fall. And if the Alliance breaks, the peace that the seven kingdoms have known for generations will come to a violent, war-torn end.

Crown Prince Elian Farenfell had just been released from his marriage contract to a missing princess, and now he must follow his grandmother’s guidance to choose Aloria’s future queen. But Elian’s mind is elsewhere because someone is trying to kill him and conspiring to take the throne from the hands of the Farenfell family. Elian must join with Adelaide to uncover the extent of the corruption to protect Aloria’s future and save his own life.

A Southern Wind is a fantasy western, with events loosely inspired by Greek and Roman mythology and characters inspired by the compass rose. It follows the story of Auster, a young, orphaned boy who ventures out to make enough money to send back to his younger brother. However, Auster gets caught in a dispute between an outlaw gang leader and the law.

While caught between these two long-disputing forces, Auster discovers long lost family - and magical abilities. But in order to unlock these powers, he must complete a heroic deed: steal back the golden fleece from the Argonauts.

Now that Adelaide and Elian have uncovered who was behind the assassination plot, their lives become more entangled with new threats from outside of Aloria. The Vertan Empire's threat grows on their borders and the kingdom prepares for war. Adelaide is on a mission to uncover the depth of the betrayals within her circle. Elian, meanwhile, must see to it that the kingdom is prepared should the Vertans attack, but his cousin Nickerell is thwarting his every move. And Alfie is trying to stay one step ahead as his father's presence looms ever closer. But should he reveal too much to his allies, his biggest secret may be exposed.

This novel follows the story of Ilene as she grows from young child to adulthood. Ilene has a particular knack with handling horses, even from an early age. This is a skill highly coveted in the yet to be named kingdom. When Ilene's brother runs off to join the Queen's Cavalry, she has to take his place providing for the family as a stable hand. As she grows and bonds with the horses her skills improve. When she is offered a position in the Cavalry herself, she takes it, hoping to become what her brother was unable to be for her family.
